» Ovi Show Description

Ovi Show is a widget that allows you to discover new content on the Ovi Store directly from the home screen of your Symbian mobile!

You just have to add it to your home screen! When you see some cool content, click on it and you’ll be redirected to its Ovi Store download page. Simple and easy!

Ovi Show is configurable through the settings menu, that you find opening the widget from its icon, in your phone’s menu. You can choose which content categories to filter, and how to sort the content retrieved from the store, choosing from “Top Free”, “Best Seller” and “New”.

Once you have chosen the desired settings, don’t forget to click on “Save”!

After install, go to Options => Check for updates, to update to the new version of the app!

Installed on a N8 with Anna, some feedback mnialy doing with pictures:- I have some hundreds of pictures saved on phone and accessing them to select can take up to some minutes. Also, since yesterday the pictures are shown starting from the oldest one, so i have to scroll all my way to the bottom to get the latest ones thus taking a relatively long time- sending a large picture really slows down typing, but only in the app. All other running apps don't seem to be affected or slowed down- viewing a picture in landscape mode is made quite useless because of grey upper and lower bands that reduce the size of the picture usually making it smaller than when in portrait mode- doesn't seem to be a way to save received pics, nor have I found if they are saved automatically xsomewhere on the phone (as done with the pictures taken with the camera from inside the app)- doesn't seem to be possible to use the frontal camera from inside the app- quite often there's a noticeable lag when moving between screens
